Residents of Rome, New York may be allowed to use fireworks soon

People living in Rome, New York might be able to use fireworks in their backyards soon, even though the State doesn’t allow it. Rome’s Corporation Counsel says there’s room for the City to put its own legislation in place that would work in harmony with the State’s law.
